Senior Interior Designer

Role purpose
Our Senior Interior Designers are incredibly creative, skilled, and versatile in their approach to design. They create and deliver an outstanding range of interiors across our international yacht, aviation, and residential projects, often balancing multiple projects with conflicting deadlines and overseas travel commitments. Working with the world’s most prestigious suppliers and bespoke artisans, they craft, detail, procure, and install meticulously detailed interior schemes. As key members of each project team, they manage their workload independently whilst mentoring and guiding more junior members of the team.

Professional Skills and Behavioural Traits
- At least 8 years experience running multiple luxury FF&E projects
- Formal qualification in Design, Fine Arts or Interior Architecture
- Understanding of different periods of style
- Good understanding of all project stages
- Proficient with AutoCAD, InDesign, Filemaker
- Motivated and passionate about design
- A good time manager - able to run project to agreed timetables
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Problem solver, shows tenacity in overcoming problems
- Exceptional conceptual and presentation skills
- Proactive approach to daily tasks
- Self-motivated
- Ensures own attitude and approach has a positive impact on others
Key deliverables
- Manage multiple projects ranging from small to normal sized with minimal supervision
- Have project responsibility from concept to completion
- Take a client brief from either the Associate and/or Partner
- Design concept, detailed design, FF&E project management
- Supervise work at the design stage and on site, attending meetings as required
- Allocate workload to project team
- Act as the first point of contact for any project related queries and mentor the project team
- Work in partnership with the Project Manager
- Have an understanding of contract deliverables and flag any issues, contract deviations to the Associate
- Source and negotiate products and work in partnership with Procurement
- Build relationships with key suppliers
- Attend site visits independently and respond to any issues
Remuneration and benefits
- Competitive salary available depending on level of experience
- Hours 9:30am – 5:30pm – Monday to Friday
- 24 days annual leave per annum
- Lunch will be provided, four days per week
